We are searching for individuals who are compassionate, serve with a purpose, are dedicated to supporting their team, and who seek excellence every day.This is a hybrid role at the Integrated Service Center located in Plainfield.The Procurement Control Tower Manager plays an essential role in overseeing the development and implementation of data management strategies, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of IU Health Supply Chain’s critical item master and contract data. This position involves coordinating with different departments to harmonize data collection, storage, and retrieval processes, allowing the organization to make informed, data-driven business decisions. By maintaining high-quality master data, the manager supports the organization’s objectives, ranging from improving our data quality and completeness, to becoming a trusted partner, to optimizing supply chain logistics. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to guide the data management team and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.Oversees the productivity of assigned IS team and resources. Ensures that project outcomes conform to business and clinical needs. Demonstrates consistency & reliability in execution. Builds a functional team and ensures that human and financial resources are effectively deployed. Establishes metrics and tracks improvements. Manages team members and drives the ownership mindset necessary to achieve departmental plans and direction. Reviews and evaluates work of staff and prepares performance reports.Preferred experience:Minimum of three years of supply chain procure to pay (P2P)/requisition to check experience. (Warehousing, logistics, distribution, retail, grocery or manufacturing or distribution)Supply Chain ERP experience, Microsoft Office applications, advanced Excel skills, PowerBi experience is a plus.Applicants must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with their team, peers, and organization leaders.Experience leading the development, implementation, and enforcement of master data management policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across the organization.Collaboration with IT and business units to design and implement data governance structures, roles, and responsibilities, ensuring clear accountability for data stewardship.Experience leading data quality initiatives, including the identification, assessment, and resolution of data quality issues, implementing tools and methodologies to improve data quality and reliability.Management of the data lifecycle, including creation, update, deletion, ensuring compliance with company policies.Problem solving skills and attention to detail.Preferred certifications:CMRP, CPIM, CSCP, CDMPAs part of an award-winning hospital system, our part-time and full-time team members have access to a comprehensive benefits package, which includes, Competitive pay, Development opportunities, Tuition reimbursement, Matching 401k, Paid medical leave, and health, dental and vision insurance.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience in IS and/or management role.
- Requires knowledge in business or clinical applications and supporting technology.
- Requires a demonstrated fundamental understanding of project accounting and financial management.
- Requires an understanding of general Information Management roles, responsibilities, and best practices.
- Some combination of the following certifications/coursework is preferred: PMP, ITIL, Six-Sigma/continuous improvement/quality training, Agile Methodologies, CCNA, VCP, CISA, CISSP, or vendor-specific SAN/NAS training.
- Strong working skills with MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc. is preferred.
- Preferred experience with contractor and vendor management.
