The role ensures the high availability of services as well as assists in both the design and implementation of new communications strategies. This includes supporting and maintaining the components and contracts that make up Marex’s Global Voice services across our offices, data centers and suppliers, and ensuring Compliance tools are operational and in-line with Company Policies. Some work out of standard hours may be required. Voice services include Front Officer trading telephony, Back Office, Mobile, and Voice Recording solutions.Marex has unique access across markets with significant share globally both on and off exchange. Reporting to the COO, Technology provides digital tools, software services and infrastructure globally to all business groups. Software development and support teams work in agile ‘streams’ aligned to specific business areas. Our other teams work enterprise-wide to provide critical services including our global service desk, network and system infrastructure, IT operations, security, enterprise architecture and design.IT runs our enterprise-wide services to end users and actively manages the firm’s infrastructure and data to provide and accelerate business value. This role is based within our Infrastructure group which delivers operations and engineering across Infrastructure Operations, Network, Communications, Endpoint and Platform Engineering teams with a key focus on Infrastructure as Code / automation & innovation. IT also includes our global IT Service Desk providing support and self-service to business users across Marex, and our Service Management team that runs core ITSM processes and develops our departmental tooling (Jira).Responsibilities:
- Provide support for Front Office, Control and Support, and Mobile telephony services, and Voice Recording services.
- Maintain billing and contracts for Electronic Communication services, telephone lines, and private wires.
- Execute the vision and implementation of modern Voice Services across the organization.
- Ensure operational excellence and ensure services remain stable.
- Provide Architecture and Project consultation for new Voice service requirements.
- Contribute to Voice projects being delivered on time and within budget.
- Maintain Voice Services in line with internal Security and Operational standards.
- Ensure Voice Services are resilient and required testing is completed in line with internal policies
- Ensure operational work items are tracked and managed.
- Manage relationships and contract renewals with vendors and identify cost/value optimisation initiatives that meet the organization’s objectives.
- Track and manage the Voice Services costs.
- Provide Operational support and escalate issues as required for Voice Services.
- Support the IT Communications Manager and perform management duties when they are out of office.
- Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges.
- Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

Skills and Experience
- Experience with Front Office Trading Environment.
- Experience with the following services: Cisco Call Manager Systems, Red Box/Orex/Voxsmart, Cloud9 Voice Services, telephone lines (AT&T), Private Wires (IPC & Flexnet), VOIP Services, Verizon Mobile Services, Microsoft Teams Voice, Chat Platforms and surveillance tooling.
- Experience with supplier management and IT service management.
- Understanding of overall Telecommunications and general IT services.
- Ability to multitask.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
