Job description: Role Specific InformationJob DescriptionAbout the RoleIn this role you will drive HR initiatives and key people strategies within designated business to achieve business and associate established objectives. To achieve desired outcomes, this role supports and facilitates, in partnership with leadership, succession planning, talent mobility and serves as the key partner to cross-functional HR/Legal/Finance partners to drive HR solutions.What You’ll DoMaintain talent summaries and provide workforce planning analysis and supportProvide recommendations and insights based on analysis to HR leadershipEnsure accuracy of business unit and/or department open and active headcount and prepare deliverables as needed for HR leadershipSupport Talent Assessment, Succession Planning and Talent conversations, connecting talent needs across the organizationDevelop communication and implementation deliverables for business transformationsConduct follow-ups with HR Partners in support of business changesCreates job descriptions and outlines roles & responsibilities to support new structures and career pathingDevelops insights through analysis of data to share with LeadershipProvides analytics, trends, feedback and other data to drive business and talent decisionsSupport and influence implementation and adoption of HR related initiatives across the organizationContribute to continuous improvement of project and program deliveryInfluences, negotiates, and facilitates solutions with internal partners and stakeholders (i.e. BUF, COE, SSC, Workday)May lead cross-functional human capital initiatives across the entire organizationProvide Leadership day to day guidance, counsel and support of business and talent strategiesIdentify and inform Managers on opportunities and approaches for cross-functional partner alignmentAdvocate and reinforce Kohl’s values and DEI initiativesMay be assigned additional responsibilitiesWhat Skills You HaveRequiredBachelor degree, with an emphasis on HR/Business or equivalent experience3+ years of experience in associate relations or HRExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsPreferredPHR or SPHRWorkday ExperienceAdvanced knowledge of Google (sheets, slides, docs)
