  • Serve as clerical point of contact on different resource programs. Provide assistance in the completion of records review, inventories, and dispositions in accordance with records schedule.
  • Purchase supplies and equipment using simplified acquisition procedures through the integrated charge card program.
  • Assist local applicant/database administrator in performing tasks such as resetting passwords and providing training and assistance to users.
  • Serve as point of contact on specific technical aspects or programs related to office administration, resolving non-recurring problems and issues, and providing advice and recommendations to management on improving administrative operations.
  • Process various transactions such as obligations, collections, distributions, reconciliations etc. in the automated financial system. Maintain and review financial documents.
  • Prepare travel documents (authorizations and vouchers) in the automated travel system. Assist travelers with travel arrangements, resolve complex travel issues, and review travel records to confirm they are processed correctly.

Specialized Experience: I have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) in federal service. Specialized experience is further defined as performing clerical and administrative duties such as typing, filing, printing, scanning, and/or data entry; providing information or customer service to internal or external customers; maintaining electronic and paper records; skill in using computer software programs.At the GS-07 Level:
Specialized Experience: I have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) in the federal service. Specialized experience is further defined as drafting and editing a variety of correspondence utilizing computer software program(s); arrange meetings, conferences, or travel documents; purchasing supplies or equipment, assist in developing and formulating a budget and complete associated tasks such as verifying transactions or maintaining receipts.Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
